This is my first post, so I can say: this blog has been inaugurated!!
I have a dream (like a famous person once said) and that dream has brought me to Marbella. I have been here since Monday to study a Post Graduate in Hospitality Management in order to follow my dream of working at a great hotel abroad. That is right, I love hotels for working and not for going on vacation :)
The reason for starting this blog is to remember all the things I will have to experience before reaching my goal. I do not want to forget anything and I want to have faith and think that everything is possible if you really wish it, although I know the way is not going to be easy. On the other hand, I want to improve my English writing as well...
So here we go, my new life has just begun ^^
The lectures will start on Monday, so I have a little time off to relax until next week, that is why my roommate, Jana, and me have decided to explore the South of Spain a little bit ^^ Thanks God Jana has a car and she is very kind to me! (I hope you are reading this :P) Well, first, I think I am going to explain my situation a little bit. I live in Marbella, but my apartment is too far from the city center and I need public transport if I want to go somewhere everyday, and the problem is the bus stop is also far from home. In other words, you are a bit disconnected from the real world if you do not have a car (and I have not got one as you can imagine ^^) but the good point of this apartment is that it is "near" my school.
By the way, today, we went to Tarifa and took a bath in the beach :) We had a really good weather and a very good time there. I can say after going there, that I have had enough sun for the rest of my life, but I think that running away from the sun is going to be a bit difficult in this part of Spain so I think I am condemned to get burned :D
We are thinking about going to Ronda tomorrow, we will see... and I will show you some pictures ^^ (today, I forgot my camera at home :S)
And this is all for now, I do not want to be boring in my first post :)
I will come back with more fresh and interesting news, so do not worry, this has only been the introduction of my adventures in Marbella ^^

¡¡¡Y ahora en español!!! olé y olé
Este es mi primer post, así que puedo decir: ¡doy por inaugurado este blog!
“I have a dream” (al igual que cierta persona dijo en su momento) y ese sueño es lo que me ha traído a Marbella. Llevo aquí desde el lunes preparándome para empezar un máster en “Hospitality Management” con el objetivo de conseguir un puesto de trabajo en un fantástico hotel en el extranjero. Sí, los hoteles son el objetivo de mi carrera profesional, no pienso en ellos como un simple lugar de vacaciones :)
La razón por la que he decidido empezar este blog es para guardar en mi memoria todas las experiencias que voy a vivir antes de conseguir mi objetivo. No me gustaría olvidar nada, además quiero tener fe y pensar que todo es posible si verdaderamente lo deseas, aunque también es cierto que el camino para conseguirlo no va a ser fácil. Por otro lado, también me gustaría mejorar mis habilidades a la hora de tener que escribir en inglés…
Así que, allá vamos, mi nueva vida sólo acaba de empezar ^^
No empiezo las clases hasta el lunes, así que tengo unos días libres hasta la próxima semana, es por eso que mi compañera de piso, Jana, y yo hemos decidido explorar el sur de España un poco ^^ Gracias a los dioses que Jana tiene coche y se porta muy bien conmigo (espero que estés leyendo esto :P) Bueno, creo que es necesario que explique un poco mi situación antes de continuar. Es cierto que estoy viviendo en Marbella, pero mi apartamento está demasiado lejos del centro y dependo en gran medida del transporte público si quiero ir a cualquier sitio, además, otro problema añadido es que la parada del autobús también está lejos de mi casa. En otras palabras, si no tienes coche puedes sentirte un poco aislado del mundo (y yo pertenezco a ese grupo de personas que no disponen de coche ^^), pero no todo va a ser malo, lo bueno de este apartamento es que está relativamente cerca de mi escuela.
En cualquier caso, hoy hemos ido a Tarifa y nos hemos bañado en la playa :) El clima nos acompañó y nos lo hemos pasado muy bien. Puedo decir que, después de hoy, ya he tenido suficiente sol y calor para el resto de mi vida, no obstante, creo que va a ser muy difícil huir del sol en esta parte de España, así que me veo condenada a quemarme :D
Estamos pensando en visitar Ronda mañana, no lo sé, ya veremos… si vamos, intentaré volver con algunas fotos ^^ (hoy se me olvidó la cámara en casa :S)
Y esto es todo por el momento, no quiero ser muy pesada en mi primer post :)
En breves volveré con noticias frescas e interesantes, así que no os preocupéis, esto ha sido sólo el principio de mis aventuras en Marbella ^^
